TSS: Fray Of Scales Pyk.Sahada

Red scales glinted in the dimming light, deep sun caressing Pyk’s sinuous body as she circled the water dragon before her. The crowd screamed in excitement, joy and adrenaline radiating from them after the victory over the Lava Lord and the ensuing celebrations. Though some relaxed in their seats expecting a short fight, such a small fire dragon against this great beast, what chance did she have; everyone knew water was superior to fire. It had been proven only weeks before by the destruction of the Lava Lord by the warriors and the sea. Sahada; the dragon standing before her shared this sentiment, he bones settling as they twisting around one another trying to spot weaknesses and tells. Water in the air slowly flowed into clear bubbles, controlled by her opponent; it was an impressive display that would put any common fire dragon at unease.

However everyone seemed to forget Pyklum wasn’t your usual run of the mill fire dragon, her size giving her excellent manoeuvrability, cat like flexibility that made jumping and twisting over the slashing jaws and currents of water seem like child’s play. Running for the wall at the edge of the area and using the momentum to flip over the head of the charging water dragon, landing at the base of tail and sliding down until it was tight in her grip, then Pyk pulled. The sharp motion dragging Sahada’s back legs out from underneath him, he turned and roared water pitched at such speed toward her face she had no time to dodge. Her bone face caught the brunt of the attack however it still stung; Pyk could see the other dragon’s water being the biggest issue standing between her and victory. Thankfully she had a trick up her figurative sleeve.

She whipped her head toward Sahada and clicked her jaws together, creating the appearance of disjointed, disconcerting laughter. The other dragon charged toward her once more and the close rang grappling began, water swirling around the pair occasionally shooting forward to smack into whatever part of Pyk was showing. Soon onlookers could hear the sizzling every time the water hit Pyklum’s hide. The drips turning to steam after a few moments on her red flesh, the more moments that passed the quicker the water turned to steam, the arena slowly filling with the smoky remains of Sahadas main attack. The light blue dragon was now breathing more heavily sweat dripping off his scales, anger in his eyes; she had taken his water from him and was slowly burning his skin with every touch. Pyk roared and leaped over him as the he tried to catch her in his serrated jaws, her body glowing from her intense heat as she wrapped her tail around his face forcing his mouth shut with a sharp snap. Holding strong, her thick muscled tail keeping Sahada’s head twisted back and throat exposed Pyk moved sit asride his protruding sternum, webbed hands gripping similar fists to keep him from striking out. Dipping her head to avoid the thrashing tail, she gently placed the front of her head to Sahada’s throat, sliding the plating apart to grasp the slightly loose throat skin between deadly, endless teeth. Looking up to catch the other dragon’s eye, she whispered one thing to his mind. ‘I win.’

So as we are all fully aware Pyk is a tiny badass and should never be underestimated. It took forever to figure out how to actually pose these two, I swear I went through about ten different concepts before one actually fit.
